The protest march was taken towards the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly in Jaipur, where police stopped Congress workers and supporters. Tensions escalated outside the Assembly as several Congress legislators attempted to enter the premises. Security personnel reportedly locked the main gate from inside while checking the identity cards of individual MLAs. Some Congress legislators climbed onto the Assembly gate wearing black bands and raised slogans against the Bhajan Lal Sharma government. He cited complaints about damaged school buildings, students protesting over basic facilities and concerns regarding children's safety. He also criticised restrictions on photographing or recording conditions in schools, alleging that such orders were intended to conceal shortcomings rather than resolve them. Congress leaders have demanded greater accountability over school infrastructure, education facilities and student safety. The opposition is also referring to judicial observations concerning the condition of schools and demanding immediate corrective action.
