The government is introducing conflict of interest rules that will require politicians to step down from the leadership of sports clubs and federations.
Tamás Deutsch responded to Index about the Tisza government's plan regarding sports management - "MTK's leaders are chosen by MTK, not Péter Magyar."
According to the government's announcement, ministers, state secretaries, members of parliament, party leaders and other senior state officials cannot hold leadership positions in national sports federations or associations.
