Polish Air Force Boosts First F-35A Fighter Made in Italy

WARSAW - The Polish Air Force at the Lasko air base has been strengthened by a ninth F-35A fighter. According to the Defence24 portal, this was confirmed by Polish Minister of Defence Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz. It is also the first 5th generation fighter aircraft of the Polish army, which is being assembled at the Italian factory in Cameri. The previous eight F-35A aircraft for Poland were manufactured at the Lockheed Martin plant in Texas, USA.
The Polish Air Force reinforced its air force with the ninth 5th generation F-35A Husarz fighter, which landed at the base in Lasko. This is the first machine for Warsaw assembled at the Italian plant in Cameri, while the previous pieces came from the USA.
