The Senate had re-established the freeze on pensions and social minimums on 25 November. After having already opposed it at first reading, the National Assembly once again abolished the measure on Friday.
As at first reading, MEPs rejected any freezing of retirement pensions and social minima provided for in the draft budget of the Social Security, a blow for the government.
