The migration crisis that Ceuta experienced at the end of July has led the National Police to strengthen surveillance of other irregular entry points into Spain, including the Canary Islands. The controversial report of the National Immigration and Border Center (CENIF) on the Ceuta crisis also warns of the risk that the movements detected after the massive entry into the autonomous city may also have consequences on the archipelago.
