Police start search for driver who hit a child before speeding away in Gouda

A driver fled the scene after colliding with a child in Gouda on Thursday morning in an apparent hit-and-run. Police are currently searching for a black SUV. There has been no update on the child’s condition. The driver was going towards the Dreef intersection from the Burgemeester Jamessingel when he hit the child. It was said that the vehicle was driving from Goudse Poort toward the town hall.
