Israel Police carried out a series of operations over the weekend in the southern Bedouin city of Rahat, seizing weapons, explosive charges and drugs, and arresting several suspects, as part of ongoing efforts against crime, weapons and property offences, illegal residents, and strengthening governance.
Following the police operation in the Arab community, a joint operation by Border Guard soldiers and police officers from the Rahat station seized: pistols, M16 rifles, a variety of ammunition and heroin. In addition, 29 illegal residents and 7 additional suspects were arrested.
