We are staying in Kyiv, Piotr Łukasiewicz, head of the Polish embassy in Ukraine, announced on Sunday. This is a response to threats made by Russia against diplomats by the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Similar voices are also coming from other Western countries. We are staying, declared EU Ambassador Katarina Mathernova.

The Russian Embassy, in the words of Vladimir Putin, threatened to use all the weapons available to the country. The Russian Foreign Ministry also appealed to people to leave Kyiv and warned against travel to Ukraine. The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on the matter.
