Poco F9 Pro and F9 Ultra Launch with 185Hz Panels, 8 Elite Gen 5 Chips, and Huge Batteries
The flagship phones add Bose-tuned 2.1 audio, 185Hz AMOLED screens and batteries up to 8,050mAh for gamers and power users.
Xiaomi spinoff Poco partnered with Bose for the second year in a row to launch the new Ultra and Pro smartphones, continuing their flagship audio collaboration.
The Ultra features the return of the Bose-branded 2.1 sound system introduced last year on the F8 Ultra, now with a subwoofer mount redesigned to include a small LED ring.
Powering the Ultra is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, up to 16GB RAM, and a 10,000-nit OLED display; it supports Bose's game audio engine for FPS titles like Clash of Clans and GTA: Liberty City Stories.
Pricing for the Ultra starts at about $1,275, while the Pro model costs $1,040, and both phones receive four years of OS updates and six years of security support.
While the Pro is a similar device, it is stripped back, lacking the Ultra's subwoofer and notification LED, with a smaller 6.59-inch display and less capable telephoto and ultrawide cameras.
