- The Vadodara Municipal Corporation implemented a private digital platform to streamline venue entry, identity verification, and seating management. The system issues digital M-Tickets with live QR codes, marking a first-of-its-kind initiative for such public programmes.
- Modi will inaugurate and launch rail, highway, solar, and urban development projects worth over ₹35,000 crore across Gujarat and Maharashtra. Projects include the Vadodara Urban Development Authority Ring Road Phase II and a 110 MW floating solar project at Kadana Dam.
- A major highlight includes commissioning three sections of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor covering 326 route kilometres. The Prime Minister will also lay foundation stones for three railway projects spanning 329 kilometres, costing more than ₹9,700 crore.
- At around 5.45 p.m., the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Global Fintech Fest 2026 in Mumbai. The annual conference gathers stakeholders to discuss emerging technologies including agentic AI, tokenisation, and quantum systems for inclusive finance.
