- The summit, organized by the Ministry of Jal Shakti, aimed to strengthen "Team India" by deepening cooperative federalism and fostering collective ownership of national priorities through closer collaboration between the Centre and the States.
- Modi recommended robust water data governance through artificial intelligence and urged Urban Local Bodies to proactively address challenges arising from rapid urbanization, population growth, and future water requirements.
- To facilitate practical learning, Modi proposed structured interstate study visits and promotion of "Jal Utsav" to create greater public awareness, alongside regular de-silting programs to address water scarcity.
- Reflecting on the event, Patil stated Modi's guidance provides energy to convert deliberations into results, ensuring the Centre and States advance toward building a water-secure India by conserving every drop of rainwater.
