- Meeting briefings showed power disruptions in Gwadar have fallen 42% and the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan will provide land and infrastructure as electricity demand rises in coming years.
- Gilgit-Baltistan's solar package comprises an 18-megawatt rooftop programme and an 82-megawatt utility-scale project, with short-term rooftop installs planned for major government institutions.
- Uninterrupted electricity supply will enhance national economic activity in Gwadar Port City, and the prime minister stressed it must meet regional and international standards for industries and investors.
- Meeting attendees included Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and other senior ministers as APPPM approved plan implementation to resolve power supply issues.
