Contract workers help smooth in concrete supplied by Lampasas Trucking & Ready-Mix to solidify pole structures that will serve as a base for a shade covering over playground equipment at W.M. Brook Park. The city park was closed several days last week to allow for installation of the new shade covering that was made possible by a $50,000 LCRA grant awarded to the Spring Ho Festival Committee.
