- The penalty phase begins Wednesday afternoon, with prosecutors seeking the death penalty for the surgeon, who waived his right to a jury trial and will face either life without parole or execution.
- Despite extensive searches of a landfill and other locations, investigators never located Cozzi's body, relying instead on forensic evidence including DNA found in the law firm and Kosowski's vehicle to secure conviction.
