A former paramedic with the Phoenix Fire Department is facing criminal charges after being accused of illegally obtaining fentanyl through deceptive means, according to authorities. Prosecutors allege that Anthony Amplo was indicted on March 26 in connection with an incident dating back to August 2025, in which he is accused of acquiring narcotic drugs through fraud and misrepresentation.
