The measure seeks to correct the difficulties generated by the previous system and facilitate the direct access of national and foreign visitors. The change includes a stage of adaptation of the platform and a white march before its final implementation.
The Government of Peru eliminated the possibility of making prior reservations to visit the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu.
The Ministry of Culture removed the booking mechanism and now visitors will have to make the payment to get their ticket. Know how the new system will work and when it will be implemented.
The system will be modified to allow tickets to be purchased without a prior reservation. Changes will be tested for 30 days before their final implementation.
Through a ministerial resolution, the Ministry of Culture officially modifies the process of booking and purchasing tickets to the Llaqta de Machupicchu and the Inka Road Network.
