On Thursday, Gaël Perdriau was sentenced on appeal to five years in prison, including a farm, in the context of the case of blackmail with sextape. The former elected LR received the same penalty as in the first instance, for the kompromat having targeted in 2015 his first deputy and possible future rival.
The penalty, together with a warrant of custody, is the same as that handed down in the first instance, with the exception of the period of ineligibility, increased to ten years as against five years previously.
