Perdido Hotel Partners Acquire Iconic Resort in Orange Beach, Alabama
The new ownership group, including Coach Nick Saban, will preserve Perdido Beach Resort’s legacy with 338 keys and 43,000 sq ft of event space, reopening Dec. 30.
- Perdido Hotel Partners, LLC announced on Dec. 10, 2025, the acquisition of Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach, Alabama, with a buyer group including Aurora Hospitality Partners, Ms. Terry Saban, and Joe Agresti.
- Since opening in 1987, Perdido Beach Resort remained under developer Jim Meadlock and features 338 keys, over 43,000 square feet of event space, and four food and beverage outlets.
- Aurora Hospitality Partners, LLC will co-own and oversee operations, committed to protecting the resort's legacy and serving families across the Southeast, Blair Plott said.
- Under the deal, the property will remain under local stewardship and will be closed most of December, reopening under new owners on December 30, 2025.
- The acquisition positions local leaders to steward the resort over the long term, with Aurora Hospitality Partners managing daily operations and its Alamite property awarded Marriott Tribute Portfolio Hotel of the Year in 2024.
