BANGKOK (AP) — Thailand’s Princess Bajrakitiyabha Mahidol, a lawyer and the eldest of King Maha Vajiralongkorn’s children, has died at 47, the Bureau of the Royal Household said.
People flocked to pay their respects before the statue of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha and signed the royal condolence book at Sahathai Samakhom Pavilion in the Grand Palace.

The Royal Household will open the portrait of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavadi, Krom Luang Rajasarinisipatchara Mahavajrarajathida, to the public from Sunday, June 14, 2026 onwards, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM at Sahathai Samakhom Pavilion, Grand Palace. A royal condolence book will also be available for signing.
