Ukraine Braces for Combined Salvos of up to 200 Missiles as Overnight Attack Kills 15 in Kyiv

- Recent months have seen an expansion of Russian attacks across Ukraine as officials warn that stocks of anti-missile interceptor munitions are dangerously low. The assault combined ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones to maximize damage.
- Hits and damage were recorded at 12 locations in Sviatoshyn, Darnytsia, and Solomianskyi districts. In Solomianskyi District, a 9-storey residential block suffered destroyed 8th and 9th floors, with fires breaking out in warehouses and shops.
- Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine's defense against ballistic missiles is "entirely dependent on the supply of missiles for Patriot systems to Ukraine." He appealed to foreign partners for more ammunition to prevent further civilian casualties.
- Russia's Defense Ministry claimed the overnight attack targeted military industrial enterprises and logistics hubs. Ukraine continues developing its own FREYJA interceptor program, though officials do not expect the weapon operational until 2027.
