Pembroke school marks Franco-Ontarian Day with flag raising, parade, art displays

Jeanne-Lajoie Catholic elementary school marked Franco-Ontarian Day on Sept. 25 with a day of celebrations that connected students to both local and provincial history. The morning began with a flag-raising ceremony in front of the entire school community.
