Paul and Benita Sanchez of Fort Morgan celebrate 70 years of marriage

On Saturday, Sept. 27, Paul and Benita Sanchez celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. The couple, longtime residents of Fort Morgan, were married on Sept. 25, 1955, and have spent their lives working hard, raising a family, and helping others. Originally from New Mexico, Paul and Benita both grew up in large families, each of ten children.
