The Patronage of Labour Importers (PIFM) accuses the authorities of changing the interpretation of the legislation on employment notices for foreign citizens, and hundreds of employers and recruitment agencies risk losing paid money for documents that they can no longer use in the visa procedure.
The Romanian state has abused hundreds of thousands of euros from employers, for job notices that it no longer accepts under the new legislation, says the Labour Force Importers' Patronage (WPI), in a statement.
Romanian employees risk losing 100 euros per job notice after the launch of WorkinRomania.gov.ro platform.
The state has collected 100 euros for hundreds of job files, but after months of waiting, it no longer processes them in the procedure in which they were filed and has not announced the return of the money. Employees are now sent to the new platform and are obliged to resume the procedure.
