- Cruise passenger Michael Bedwell told Eyewitness News that crew instructed guests to return to their rooms. "We just did what they told us to do," Bedwell said of the lockdown experience.
- Carnival Cruise Line confirmed the guest went overboard after reviewing man overboard cameras. Sadly, the victim's family and friends have been notified, and the company is providing support to those traveling with the guest.
