The far-right RN missed out on mayoral posts in Marseille and Toulon, but did win in numerous other cities. Now that the municipal elections are over, the campaign for the 2027 presidential elections is kicking off.
The left kept Paris, Marseille and Lyon on Sunday, March 22nd in the second round of the municipal elections, which, however, signed the general failure of the controversial alliances between LFI and the socialists, while the right and centre reap a beautiful harvest and the RN records a wave of victories in the middle cities.
