- TTP activity surged, with incidents rising 24pc to 595 attacks concentrated in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and at least 637 deaths including an armed attack killing 21 military forces.
- The report recorded a jump from 101 to 655 hostage victims, driven by the Jaffar Express attack where 442 people were taken hostage.
- Despite a worldwide fall in terrorism deaths, the IEP found global terrorism totals fell 28pc to 5,582 in 2025 while Pakistan rose among five countries with nearly 70pc of global deaths.
