The fire in the protected facility was caused by individuals who broke in and planned sabotage. The fire damaged the building's structures, and hazardous chemicals began to spread into the environment. There are also injured people in and around the building. According to this scenario, officers at the Practical Training Base of the Firefighters' School in Valčiūnai participated in an evacuation exercise on Saturday.
A civil protection exercise was held at the Firefighters' School Practical Training Base in Valčiūnai on Saturday - more than a hundred officers from different institutions trained to act during a chemical incident.
