US Hub in Iraq Targeted Overnight by Iranian Drones, Rockets

Pro-Iran groups claimed 21 drone and rocket strikes on US facilities in Baghdad as part of pressure for US troop withdrawal, with 6 to 8 attacks confirmed by Iraqi officials.

The Baghdad diplomatic and logistics hub is located in the international airport complex, which has been repeatedly targeted by Iran since February 28.

On Saturday evening, a security source reported that the area around Baghdad International Airport was attempted to be targeted by two drones. The source confirmed to Shafaq News that "the aircraft were dropped after attempting to target the airport's logistics support headquarters." He noted that "the remains of one of the two cruisers fell in the area of the Jihad neighbourhood near Baghdad airport."
