The pre-Christmas weekends traditionally bring crowds of tourists to the center of Prague – and with them a problem that is hard to miss at first glance. Trash cans on the busiest routes in the historic center overflow, and people often try to throw their trash right up to the top of the full containers. Much of it ends up scattered on the ground.
