A citizen of Serbia was arrested at the Dračenovac border crossing at the entrance to Montenegro, after undeclared money was found in his car.
"The officers of the Special Police Department were informed about the incident, who, after collecting information, on the order of the Special State Prosecutor's Office, deprived M.V. of his freedom on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of money laundering. The passenger motor vehicle of the BMW brand was temporarily confiscated for further checks," the statement of the Police Administration (UP) states.
Serbian citizen M.V. (56) was arrested on suspicion of money laundering at the entrance to Montenegro after customs officials found 45,000 euros during an inspection of the vehicle.
At the Dracenovac border crossing, at the entrance to Montenegro, 45,000 euros of undeclared money was found with a Serbian citizen, Montenegrin police said.
