JPNN.com, JAKARTA - Based on data from the Indonesia Anti-Scam Center (IASC) and the PASTI Task Force, as quoted by the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi), the total funds reported by victims of cybercrime reached IDR 9.5 trillion as of April 2026.
Komdigi noted that Indonesia's digital space still faces various threats ranging from phishing, misuse of one-time passwords (OTPs), spam, to the use of fake identities.
Increasing adoption of digital assets needs to go hand in hand with public understanding of account security and digital identity protection.
