Original Sugababes announce release of new album

Original Sugababes members Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena, and Siobhán Donaghy announced a new self-titled album set for release on February 12, 2027, marking their first full-length project together in 26 years.
The reunion follows a long legal battle to reclaim the Sugababes name after the founders regrouped around 2011 as MKS; Keisha said she had to "take on a few giants" to secure the rights.
Coinciding with the announcement, the group released the lead single "Ghost" today; Siobhán said the track "came from something that happened to me with my first love," describing the difficulty of letting someone go.
The 12-track record features collaborations with renowned songwriters, exploring genres like garage and Amapiano; the trio shared they "didn't want to rush this record," having poured significant effort into sound and detail.
Beyond the album launch, Sugababes confirmed there will "definitely be new music in 2026" following their massive Glastonbury festival appearances in 2022 and 2024, teasing "a few surprises in the pipeline.
