- The post arrived hours after the European Commission announced a €200 million investment in Greenland. Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said, "I hope no one is in any doubt about that," regarding Greenlandic independence.
- Foreign Minister Thorgerdur Gunnarsdottir conveyed that the post was "completely inappropriate," according to local broadcaster RUV. The U.S. State Department did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
