Organic-looking brake assemblies debut on new Czinger 21C Spyder
During the 2026 Monterey Car Week, Los Angeles-based manufacturer Czinger Czinger Vehicles Inc. revealed the 21C Spyder, an open-top hybrid hypercar limited to 30 hand-assembled units.
Utilizing 'BioLogic Engineering,' the Spyder employs a 2.88L twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors to generate a combined 1,250 hp, enabling a 1.9-second sprint to 60 mph.
The 'BrakeNode' system combines brake calipers, suspension uprights, and hydraulic pathways into one structure, reducing unsprung mass by 30% and reportedly cutting stopping distances by up to 15%.
With the roof attached, the car generates 3,307 lbs of downforce, matching the hardtop version, while the removable 22-pound panel starts at $2.75 million.
Fully homologated for all 50 U.S. states, the 30-unit production run remains separate from the 80 21C coupes being built, establishing the Spyder as exceptionally rare.
