From St. Louis/Southern Illinois Labor Tribune: Windy Chafin, a 25-year member of Operating Engineers Local 513, has won the 2025 Missouri Women in Trades (MOWIT) Tradeswoman of the Year award. Chafin received the award last month at the MOWIT Blue Collar/Black Tie Awards Gala, which was held at the LIUNA Event Center in Sunset Hills. She is the second member of Local 513 to win the award.
