The CEO of OpenAI, the company behind the popular chatbot ChatGPT, is considering supporting pharmaceutical companies in discovering new drugs using his AI technologies. In return, OpenAI could then receive a share of the revenue from those discoveries, Sam Altman said Tuesday at an AI conference in San Francisco.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said the company could invest in companies that use artificial intelligence to discover new drugs and therapies in the future, and in return, could ask for a share of the revenue generated, Bloomberg reported.
