According to a media report, ChatGPT developer OpenAI stopped training its new AI model Astra in August due to security issues for two weeks. "In August, we stopped Astra's training for two weeks when we saw that the alignment of the model was not perfect," said OpenAI European CEO Emmanuel Marill of the German newspaper "Welt am Sonntag". The training stop had been made before a public announcement.
