A key executive overseeing OpenAI's data centers is reported to have resigned. The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on the 25th (local time), citing sources, that Chris Malone, OpenAI's head of data centers, was confirmed to have left OpenAI last week. Malone, a former senior engineer at Meta and Google, joined OpenAI last March, shortly after the announcement of the large-scale data center construction plan 'Stargate'.
