OpenAI will leave behind the driver who offered ChatGPT Enterprise to federal agencies for $1 a year. Since October 2026, the US government will face a usage charge scheme with a 50% discount, after a program that reportedly reached 3.5 million employees and generated $1.4 billion in savings.
