Fatal workplace incident under investigation near Christina Lake
CHRISTINA LAKE. — Alberta Occupational Health and Safety is investigating a workplace incident at an oil and gas site near Christina Lake that left one worker dead and another seriously injured. In an email sent exclusively to Harvard Media News, OH&S says the incident occurred Jan. 29 when a pipe rolled off a truck during unloading and struck two workers. OHS says no further details will be released due to the ongoing investigation.
