One person found dead after fire rips through Colborne seniors complex
County officials say emergency services were called to the 21-unit complex at 8 King St. in Colborne just after 4:10 a.m. after receiving notification of the fire. The Keeler Centre, a hockey arena in Colborne, was being used as an evacuation centre. A county statement released this morning said officials were still on-scene and are currently confirming the location of all tenants. The cause of the fire is not yet determined.

Emergency services are responding to a fire at a Northumberland County Housing Corporation complex. A post to the County’s social media accounts says the fire started in an apartment complex at 8 King Street, West in Colborne early this morning.
