Four Injured in Shooting at Arkansas State University
Officials said four people were injured in the campus shooting, including two students, and investigators said the incident was isolated to Unity Park.
On Sunday, a shooting at Unity Park on the Arkansas State University campus in Jonesboro left four people injured, including two students.
Law enforcement responded to 911 calls shortly after midnight on April 26 reporting shots fired at a gathering, triggering an immediate investigation.
One individual received treatment at the scene, while three victims were hospitalized in stable condition following the incident at the campus.
Todd Clark, chief marketing and communications officer for Arkansas State University, stated there is "no active threat," noting the shooting was isolated to Unity Park.
Investigators from the Jonesboro Police Department and the Arkansas State University Police Department continue the probe, urging anyone with information to call 870-972-2093.
