At the initiative of ecologist MEPs, the blood samples of 110 volunteers from nine countries were analysed to measure the concentration of "eternal pollutants". TFA rates are of particular concern.
This very small PFAS, which is found in water and agricultural crops, is extremely stable and therefore particularly persistent in the environment.
