Okiko announced a new executive structure on the 22nd. President Toshiaki Mekaru (66) will become chairman, and Senior Managing Director Toshio Nakata (54) will become president. Both will have representative authority. The decision was made at a board meeting held on May 19th. They will assume their positions on July 1st. Toshiaki Mekaru (left) and Toshio Nakata. Mekaru was born in 1960. He joined Marchen in 1984.
