The price of gold fell significantly on Monday, following on from last week's price losses. In the morning, a fine ounce (about 31.1 grams) was traded on the London Stock Exchange at $4,190, which is about three percent lower than on Friday. In the course of a week, the price of gold has already fallen to about $200 per fine ounce.
