ATHENS, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University football team opened the Mid-American Conference portion of the schedule on Saturday (Sept. 27) against the Ohio Bobcats. A defensive-heavy game, the Falcons came up short to the Bobcats in the 35-20. The BGSU defensive unit forced a fumble and an interception while recording two sacks. However, the Ohio defense responded similarly, winning the turnover battle on the way to the final score.
