Utah OT Spencer Fano Drafted 9th Overall by Cleveland Browns
The Browns added a versatile offensive lineman and a playmaking receiver after trading down and gaining extra picks, officials said.
On Thursday, April 23, 2026, the Cleveland Browns selected Utah offensive tackle Spencer Fano ninth overall and wide receiver KC Concepcion 24th overall in the first round of the NFL draft.
General manager Andrew Berry traded the sixth pick to the Kansas City Chiefs for the ninth, 74th, and 148th selections to address critical offensive line and wide receiver needs.
Coach Todd Monken confirmed Fano, an Outland Trophy winner who allowed zero sacks on 382 pass snaps last season, will play left tackle for a team that surrendered 51 sacks in 2025.
Concepcion recorded 919 receiving yards and nine touchdowns last season with the Aggies, joining a Browns receiving corps that ranked last in the league with 1,467 total yards in 2025.
Monken stated, "We couldn't be any more excited," about addressing roster needs after the team cycled through 10 different offensive line combinations last season due to injuries.
