The OECD unemployment rate fell to 4.9 per cent in July, from 5 per cent in June, and reached its lowest level in one year, approaching the historical minimum of 4.8 per cent in June 2023, reports the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
Outside the European Union, unemployment rates in July 2026 fell in Colombia and Norway and rose in Israel and Turkey.
