- Fisheries Minister Gokulananda Mallik and Panchayati Raj Minister Rabi Narayan Naik were deployed to monitor the situation in affected districts. Authorities utilized 200 relief centers to house evacuees while emergency teams cleared blockades and addressed waterlogging.
- Meteorologists expect the depression to weaken into a well-marked low-pressure area by Saturday, according to IMD forecasts. Despite the anticipated decline, district administrations remain on alert with cyclone shelters ready for potential flooding emergencies.
