The delivery of three hospital units donated by the Russian city of St. Petersburg to the Cuban provinces of Havana, Matanzas (occidental) and Santiago de Cuba (southeastern) will reinforce emergency transfers, with emphasis on the Maternal and Child Program.

St. Petersburg formally handed over three ambulances and one Lada Iskra to medical centers in Havana, Matanzas and Santiago de Cuba for the maternal-child program.
The shipment was agreed upon after the visit of the governor of St. Petersburg, Aleksandr Beglov, in late 2025.
